omg. since when e MUIS(Majlis Ugama Islam Singapura...if i'm not wrong) approved it? take a look at this... I was given the attached pic from a fellow Chinese colleague asking if its possible for pork to go halal. This pic was taken from an NTUC branch with the date at the bottom but however, the person refuse to reveal which exact branch this is from. I hope you are able to step up some investigation on this. It really scares me thinking teenagers who would try out of curiousity or maybe a maid who don't know much reading and depend on the Halal logo. Kindly revert. Thanks. Regards, Dian Suhaimi i received this from my aunt... so i decide to share this with e people who read my blog. if MUIS doesn't noe abt this...i really dun noe what to say... what is the hidden objective of the culprit who did this? as far as e Muslim's are concern...pork are prohibited by the Islamic Law. look around you... especially the bakery shops. "NO LARD, NO PORK" they can put all those sign at every inch of their shops. but the concept they had in their brain is totally off. so what if there are no lard or pork? SO WHAT? e concept u've got there is for-god's-sake wrong. it is difficult for me to explain. but as long as e shop is not approved by MUIS, it it NOT considered halal. As i looked around, i've seen Aunt's & Uncles, Grandfathers as well as Grandmothers queueing to buy the bread at the bakery shops which has no Halal certs distributed by MUIS. Subway is NOT halal la btw. so what if there's only Mutton/Beef?? sad to say...those who regard themselves as Muslims have the perception of 'No pork No lard = Halal" pls la... worse case, those who wears the head scarfs, went in to dine. and i'm like... wtf?! might as well u dun wear la...what are you trying to convey? u are disgracing your religion. TAKE OFF YOUR HEAD SCARFS la. i may not be a good, true Muslim myself. But at least i noe the most basic things. Some who went to Madrasahs...dont even behave lyk a true Muslims. This is what i call Stupidity. I mean..you guys are actually e WORSE bunch la... I am ashamed. Those who dont go to Madrasahs are WAYYY better than you guys la... Call urself Muslims... i can actually SPIT right smack at u la... you drink(alcohols, liquors, beers) like nobody's business. (of course NO ONE cares if you drink..but at least show some respect to the REAL Muslims la...you want to drink, go to e RIGHT places. there's NO NEED to show off ur drinking skills.) SO WHAT if you can drink? To all Muslims i noe we ain't perfect. but we can try to avoid things that is prohibited by Islamic law. To all non- muslims.
