“I’ll send you home” “I’ll wait for you” “I’ll be by your side whenever you need me” But as the relationship progresses, all those things begin to perish slowly. We tend take things for granted. Why? Because we already get what we want and the other party already belongs to us. We find it unnecessary to maintain all those kind of things. But that’s not the way. We should at least make the effort to continue with what we started with. When “I love you” statement has become a routine, we no longer feel that we actually mean it and it has become more like a duty to say it at the end of every sentence, or every call, even messages. We want to hear it for the sake of hearing. We say it for the sake of saying. It has become an everyday chore or worse still to actually find it a burden. There’s nothing special about that statement anymore and there’s no more that tingling feeling you used to feel. When you don’t feel the butterflies-fluttering-in-the-stomach kind of hugs and those sensational kisses anymore, just be alert coz you’ll never know when it’ll all end. When this happens, you’ll sit by the corner biting your fingernails away and start blaming yourself, putting yourself into depression mode. ShImA
